Abstract
We are living in an era where there exists a constant globalization of business, increasing complexity of business requirements, trend for flatter organizations and rise of accessibility to the information technology. As a result, the competition becomes very keen all over the world. This situation has also accelerated a new business structure that has spawned the growth of a different type of work unit, virtual (distributed) teams [1]. This new organizational structure for companies has been inevitable to build in the era of the rapid development of information and communication technologies.
