Abstract
Apple Computer‟s strategic move towards consumer products has been a great success for the company. The i-Pod sales have grown to over $100 million since it‟s release in 2001, making it one of the best music players according to consumer reports. Since the inception of the iPod, music CD sales have dropped drastically, while the flash memory industry has grown exponentially. In this report an attempt was been made to determine, if the innovation of the i-Pod can be termed as a Killer application.
