Abstract
The author details areas in need of benchmarking and ways projects are conducted. He also touches on this author's bent to engineer through benchmarking, telling about the power of QFD as a benchmarking tool. He also introduces a new idea, illustrating that benchmarking encompasses far more than the analytical and data intensive "Japanese" tool as an item for further investigation.
