Abstract
We developed a linear program to run on LINDO, which provided a plan for optimum paper production allocation for each machine of three machines in a paper mill, to maximize contribution to profit through production allocation. Results indicate that one machine is under-utilized, and recommendations for use include machine shut-down and retrofit.
