Abstract
The McMinnville School District (MSD) enrolled 6,411 students in Fall 2010, a decrease of 156 students (2.4 percent) from Fall 2009. The decrease occurred at all levels, including losses of 98 students (3.2 percent) in elementary grades K-5, seven students (0.5 percent) in middle school grades 6-8, and 51 students (2.5 percent) in high school grades 9-12. In spite of this year’s enrollment decline, district-wide K-12 enrollment in Fall 2010 was 381 students (6.3 percent) larger than in Fall 2005. During the five year period, all levels shared the growth, with increases of 5.7 percent at the elementary and middle school levels and 7.8 percent at the high school level.
