Abstract
Rejoice in the Lamb is a masterpiece of the choral music world by Benjamin Britten. This thesis documents one educator's journey of preparing and performing this piece with a choir. Exploring the life of Britten and the poet, Christopher Smart, a greater context for this work is discovered. The educator's personal take on the piece is also included.
