Abstract
Wraithstruck is a creative writing thesis featuring three chapters from the beginning of a queer fantasy novel and a craft essay detailing the writing and revisions process for these chapters. The chapters explore several themes including familial disconnect, queer and trans identity, and queer relationships. Fantasy is used as a lens to explore both difficult and lighthearted aspects of a queer lived experience.
