Abstract
By looking at three prevention models: Male Peer Support, Bystander Intervention and Feminist Self-Defense and Resistance Training, this thesis should provide a framework for Universities to include all students who have experienced sexual violence. This thesis has a focus on inducing the LGBTQ community who has experienced sexual violence, and work towards decreasing the sexual assault rates on college campus. Furthermore, providing a safe and supportive environment for everyone to obtain higher education, by providing recommendations for how to make models more inclusive, in meeting needs of LGBTQ community on college campuses.
