Abstract
The Bowerbird Project is the result of using graphic design to create more effective recycling systems in hotels. The goal of this project was to have a system that would be both intuitive, approachable, and aesthetically pleasing. Drawing from social marketing and research, the Bowerbird Project creates a visual language that is both easy to understand and easily adaptable. Ultimately, it will not only make the recycling experience easier for the user, but also more effective for the hotel.
