Abstract
Glitch Art is a fairly unique medium. This thesis explores Glitch Art through the lens of photographic theory primarily in relation to Roland Barthes work 'Camera Lucida'. Concepts and Ideas derived from Barthes theory are developed, and creative work is then developed taking them in mind. The creative work itself is comprised of 4 different image processing scripts written in the Javascript library p5js. These different scripts all take different approaches to applying the theory developed, and create engaging entropic imagery.
