Abstract
A dystopian sci-fi love story about genetic engineering, polyamorous marriage, the Corporate Revolution, racism, Portland, yurt communes, tardigrades, home remedies, baked goods, Mars, and rock & roll.
In the Corporate States of America, nothing matters more than making a profit. Elvis has never felt the Hunger, but her bakery helps feed the sugar addiction that has turned the beauty standard upside down - until she meets the last descendant of the Miracle Baby and learns the cost of doing business.
