    Description

    "William Pygull de Hoo of Perthale in Bedfordshire conveys 10 acres of farmland to Henry and Thomas Deym of Kimbolton, the land to be worked by John Wylde and Maryell (presumably his wife). The document states that the property had been enfeoffed to Pygull by William Stoughton.” [from dealer's note]

    Manuscript in Latin; written in 10 long lines in 15th-century secretary hand. Decoration: Flourished initial on line 1. One vertical fold; stain from paper clip at upper right; ink rich and clear; tab at foot of manuscript with partial pendant seal; left one-third and right one-third of seal missing; every five lines numbered in modern hand in pencil at left margin. Date (from dealer’s catalog) written in modern hand in pencil in lower right corner.
