Description
Illustration of St. George from a selection of pages from an illustrated manuscript Book of Hours in Bohairic Coptic, Arabic, and Greek. Estimated circa 18th century. Selections of unnumbered pages include headings for the 3rd, 6th, 9th, and Midnight hours, and the Veil Prayer. Includes hand-drawn illustrations of warrior saints St. George, St. Mercurius, and St. Theodore.
