Note

William H. Wilson established and edited the Northwest Enterprise in 1920. Published from 1920 through 1952, the paper was distributed throughout the Pacific Northwest and had readers and contributors from Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. In 1940, Edward I. Robinson became publisher and the Northwest Enterprise became the official publication of the Improved Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks of the World (IBPOEW) and Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters. Although published out of Seattle, the Northwest Enterprise also had a separate office in Portland.
