Description

While the COVID-19 pandemic has generated challenges for both instructors and students, it has also provided opportunity. For example, students who have been unable to take lab-based science courses due to scheduling and/or distance have now been able to do so via remote learning. In this presentation, Dr. Taber will share observations from teaching lab-based chemistry and engineering courses during the pandemic, explore the role and importance of OER in both lecture and lab, and apply what he’s learned to envision ways to increase access to lab-based classes as we move to a new, post-COVID-19 world.
