Description
Despite recent emphasis on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) in higher education institutions, implementing DEI at program level and course level can still be challenging. A focus on meeting the needs of diverse learners lead to strategic goals related to affordable, innovative learning. And corresponding design strategies include making learning materials affordable, creating inclusive content, engaging students with diverse and meaningful learning activities, using inclusive languages, and assessing learners with authentic and meaningful assessments, to name a few.
