Abstract
This is a work of video game ekphrasis wherein every poem was written while playing the Fallout video game series; as such, each poem title shares the name with a song from the Fallout video game soundtracks. Part of the aim of this is to, like Lyrical Ballads, make poetry more accessible to people who exist outside of the realm of high literature. Altogether, it is a fragmented epic which relates my own personal experiences to settings found in the Fallout video game series, and it loosely traces the journey of our protagonist/my alter-ego, Red, as she traverses a post-apocalyptic wasteland from New England to the Mojave Desert. The poems typed in Lucida Bright are assumed to be written by myself/Red, whereas, the poems written in Lucida Console are to be considered found materials that Red has discovered and read during her journey.
