"School of Urban Affairs, Black Studies Center Cultural/Intellectual Activities: Religion and Human Values Workshop, March 16,17,18, Albina Arts Center, 8 N Killingsworth (between Williams and Cleveland).

"The three session of the Religion and Human Values Workshop will involve humanists from several disciplines discussing the personal, religious, and community values as they are affected by urbanization:
"March 17: Religion as a Force for Social Institutions Change. Invocation: Rev. L. Fischer Hines (Bethel AME); Music: Area Church Choirs; Panelists: Dr. Whitney Bates (Portland State), Charles Jordan (Portland City Commissioner), Doris Ellis (Community Representative), Steve Snyder (Center for Urban Education)."
Note: Doris Ellis was scheduled to speak as a panelist but did not attend. The panel was moderated by Bill Little, Portland State University.
