This recording contains readings from poets Jon Anderson, Robert Bly, Robert Sund, and Allen Ginsberg.

Anderson reads his poems "The Parachutist" and "Thumbs Up." Bly reads works from Russell Edson and Bill Knott, and his own poems "Counting Small-Boned Bodies," "Johnson's Cabinet Watched by Ants," and "Hatred of Men with Black Hair." Sund reads Pablo Neruda's "Ode to the Table" and his own poems "Sleeping in Winter" and "The Patriarch to Pera in a Dream."

Allen Ginsberg reads his poems "This Form of Life Needs Sex," "Wales Visitation," and "To Poe," and concludes with a sung recitation of poems from William Blake's Songs of Experience and the Hindi chant "Raghupati raghava rajaram."

The event was sponsored by Students for a Democratic Society and the New University Conference.
