Maure Goldschmidt, a political science professor at Reed College, served as the head of the Department of Government at the University of Nairobi, Kenya for two years. This recording documents an updated reprise of an address of the same title delivered at Portland State University Jan. 23, 1969, on nation-building in Kenya.
Transferred and preserved by Portland State University Library’s Special Collections with the generous support of the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Library Services and Technology Act, administered by the Oregon State Library.
