The 2000 Regional Transportation Plan recognizes the diversity of transportation needs throughout the Portland metropolitan region and mixes land-use and transportation policies in an integrated fashion. This plan lays out the 20-year priorities for road, transit, freight, bicycle and pedestrian improvements, consistent with federal requirements of TEA-21 and state requirements.
