Notes
Project "Foresight" at this time is concentrating on two major objectives: (1) the development of the first phase of a Willamette Valley Environmental Protection Plan, and (2) refine and sustain a process for resolving intergovernmental, interregional, and interagency conflicts.
The primary responsibility of accomplishing this task has been given to the Executive Department's Local Government Relations Division. Three intergovernmental task forces have been formed, for Economic Policy, Transportation, and Natural Resources; and state, local government, and Federal personnel are members. Task force leadership is being provided by the State Department of Transportation, Assistant to the Governor for Economic Development Office, and the Assistant to the Governor for Natural Resources Office.
