Biographical
Steven Koch is the founder and president of Koch Landscape Architecture. He holds a BLA from the University of Oregon, and an MLA from the University of Pennsylvania. In 2006 Koch Landscape Architecture was specially recognized for their work on the 10th @ Hoyt Apartments by Green Roofs for Healthy Cities.

Description
Landscape Architect Steven Koch is interviewed at his firm, Koch Landscape Architects, where approximately 50 percent of the revenue is generated from sustainability projects. He discusses his main clientele consisting of architects, homeowners, and developers that reside predominantly in Washington and Oregon. At the time of the interview, he was developing landscaping for Grande Ronde Tribal Elder housing, the Grande Ronde Tribal Elder’s Craft Center, and the LEED certified apartments, known as The Alexan, located in Portland’s South Waterfront district. He describes LEED Certification and various awards of excellence that his company has received including The Green Roofs for Healthy Cities Award of Excellence (Special Recognition) and the ASLA National Award of Excellence in 2005.
