Description

Governor Roberts met with an audience of state employees at the Veterans' Auditorium, Salem, Oregon, to respond to questions about proposed budget cuts that would affect jobs in state agencies. Roberts was under pressure to drastically reduce state expenses after voters approved Measure 5, an initiative which limited property taxes and cut state revenue.
