Description

At OSU, our instructional team in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science has spend the past 4 years creating the "ECE Design Book." This online resource is free for OSU students and is a compilation of original writing, open-sourced texts, and OSU online library holdings available electronically to our students. It is currently used in 5 design courses to support learning in inclusive teamwork practices, project management, design development, social justice and ethics for engineering design, project documentation, and career development. In this presentation, we will describe detail the ECE Design book in detail, including the content selection process. We will offer lessons from our creation process and implementation so far, and we will also have time for Q&A and a collaborative discussion period for those interested in developing similar resources.
